80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot; all estate grown and Demeter certified biodynamicand CCOF certified organic! Spends 17 months in a  variety of oak- 40% new American oak and 60% neutral French and American oak. Full bodied, rich, smooth and fruit forward, with tons of dark berry  and plums wrapped up in a hint of chocolately, vanilla-accented oak. There’s just a hint of grip from tannins underneath the richness and fruit. Enjoyable now and over the next seven years. Founder and winemaker Mark Lyon graduated from UC Davis in 1978 and began working at Sebastiani the next year, where he made some seriously high scoring wines from fruit sourced from these Eco Terreno vineyard sites.
