Jean-Marie Reverdy 'Terres Blanches', Sancerre 2023
92pts Wine Advocate
This fabulous Sancerre owes its deliciousness to the great clay & limestone slopes, called “Terre Blanches” by the locals, which deliver complex, structured and round wines. Aged on its fine lees for 5 months in order to develop its full potential, this shows a beautiful pale-yellow color with golden tints.
On the nose, fresh and floral fragrances combine with dry fruit aromas which melt into a soft, fuller bodied yet energetic palate. Freshness and richness perfectly combine to give this wine good balance and lovely aromatic persistence.
