In a departure from many of our more serious Rhone style blends the new Glou d’ Etat is a light summer crusher of a red wine made in a fun and irreverent style inspired by many of our favorite European wines. Soulful yet unpretentious, easy to drink and most importantly affordable so you needn’t worry about how many you open with friends.
Foot stomped and whole cluster fermented with a slightly shorter maceration time to create a wine that is lighter in style, preserving aromatics but in keeping with a lower tannin profile making it perfect as a fresh and youthful red wine to drink slightly chilled. Tart cranberry, orange peel, dried flowers, garrigue, and earth tones finished with balanced acidity and lithe tannins."
